Content

The action starts with a 10 day trip in Siberia – the same chaps from the Top Grade and Empire DVD’s – followed by another sweet river also in that area. This area definitely holds a vast supply of rivers and it’s refreshing to see it being featured in current flicks. More rivers are shown later from Russia – and really, this is some excellent stuff.

Moving onto Norway with action from Voss, also some great footage from the Lower Rauma, and then Iceland. Some different drops are shown in Iceland, as well as some reasonably mainstream ones too. The movie jumps between countries, returning to previous ones shown. Thailand is also featured, a destination I don’t think I’ve seen footage of yet. Vietnam too, which is quite interesting. The low volume, technical creeks of Corsica are showcased as well as some superb stuff from Mexico.

The in between parts are expertly narrated by Tony Bilbow along with his dry sense of humour. There’s some off the water antics but nothing over the top and the general feel of the film is fun and easy going. Worth the watch.

Music

The music is quite funky, lively, modern - enjoyable for sure and makes for easy viewing.

Conclusion

Overall a very good movie. Perhaps the filming quality lacks finishing touches but the action is good and the places they visit really great. Check it out!

Deleted scenes, the making of MOP2, audio commentary (Two different types, which is cool. Basically the whole movie with them talking about it so you get a feel of the background and what’s happening in the movie), main trailer, Russia trailer and music.
