The Coosa is the answer to the evolving needs of the river and small water kayak fisherman. It’s 11’2” length and rockered hull make it the most sporty and nimble Jackson Kayak to best handle those smaller waters and especially wild rivers and creeks. It’s a signature series design of one of the original “river bassers,” Drew Gregory, who also founded the River Bassin Tournament Trail and is the host of the new adventure show Hooked on Wild Waters.
Aside from the hull being river friendly, the open deck layout keeps things simple and your gear easy to reach when the river forces quick decisions. When you reach smoother waters feel free to stand and fish from the Coosa, which boasts solid standability. However, with the Ergo Seat included standard on the Coosa you may find yourself seated quite often as well; the seat offers ergonomic design, breathable and quick dry material and is fully adjustable and removable for the times when you find the perfect spot to take a break on shore.
