Mar 10 Social Instagram Found a cool little pond walking around the park, full of reflection.
Mar 9 Social Instagram Came down to the state park today hoping to get some waves, instead I got take some pics and video with my new @Exolens of the locals!
Mar 8 Social Instagram I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. I want to end the weekend with a shot showing off the best part about adventure, sharing it with friends!
Mar 7 Social Instagram I hope everyone has an exciting weekend! This weekends We Live Adventure kickoff photo is from @agarhart climbing in Vietnam. taken by @gnardia
Mar 6 Social Instagram Due to the shallow rocky waters on this upcoming river expedition I'll be adding some necessary equipment to the Badfisher. For a backup paddle I'll be using the three piece carbon blade and coiled re-leash from @boardworkssurfsup, and a set of shorter fins 2&5' from @badfishsup made by @nrsweb. By adding the shorter fins it helps with tracking in shallow waters and I don't have to stop to remove the center fin which is a pain!
Mar 5 Social Instagram It's crazy how a picture can speak volumes with out saying a word and this shot from @overlandmedia does that. In 15 day's I'll be taking y'all along with me and 4 others on the Buffalo National River. Joining me this time will be Danny Braught @boardersmag, Jackson Berger @not.sourced, Michel Glass @aftco, and Josh Aldridge @overlandmedia. In 1971 the Buffalo was the first river to be designated a national river in the U.S., and flows freely for 150 miles. For decades people have fought for the Buffalo to keep it from being dammed, now they are fighting to keep it clean and protect it from factory farming along its tributaries. It's issues like this that inspired my wife and I to start Fight to SOAR (Save Ou American Rivers) and to also bring knowledge, adventure, and some cool imagery to y'all along the way. I can't wait to share this adventure with y'all and showcase the amazing beauty of the Buffalo National River and Ozarks in Arkansas! Please share and tag any friends you think would enjoy Gray Outdoors and the Fight to SOAR (Save Our American Rivers) project.
Mar 4 Social Instagram Bag #2 is the chattooga with a padded and insulated insert. Service and power will slim to none out on the Buffalo National River. I'll be using a 10watt solar panel and two @gopuck 5x battery packs. All pictures and video are taken with my iPhone in an @optrix and @exolens case, along with my 3 Virb Elite action cameras by @garmin. To light the way I'll have my 200 lumen rechargeable headlamp by @ledlenserusa. Hopefully I'll get some good night shots while we're sleeping with the new addition of the trail cam.
Mar 3 Social Instagram When out paddling for 6+ days you start to get creative. This was one of the many River barrels we caught on the Apalachicola, never stop using your imagination!
Mar 2 Social Instagram OK this is a new addition to the family and I'm very excited to use it. I've had a lot of critters snooping around camp and have even been nudged by a few in my hammock. So hopefully I can get y'all some pics and video of the things that go bump in the night!
Mar 1 Social Instagram I want to thank everyone for participating in the We Live Adventure weekends. This shot was taken by @lynnfreid on the Flint River in Georgia. Social Media is an amazing tool and can create a lot of attention for the outdoors, our waterways and help inspire our youth in a positive way. So thank you again for all the support and positive interaction with Gray Outdoors and Fight to SOAR.
