Its taking some getting used to

Having paddled a Jackson 4Fun for many years moving up to a big creeking boat has been an intersting experience. The burn is a big boat and has done me well in some big situations but it has also got me into trouble in other. This i think is my lack of technique when trying to roll this mammoth of a boat but i will hopefully sort that out in the near future. So all round a good boat for what it is designed for but not to be used when there is not enough water.

My baby

First boat i bought new and its a joy to own and paddle. For the fact that i am 6ft6in this is one of the smallest boats that i can get into and still walk after and hour (just) The minial outfitting makes it extra light and so easy to carry around. Have had this boat on all sorts of rivers in scotland from grade 2 to 5 and it is just a pleasure to paddle. It has also got me out of some interesting situations as it is so easy to roll. All round just a really good boat
