Dammit, you're right. We used to have a search function, which is pretty basic and essential. But probably along the way I installed a new forum template, and didn't notice that it didn't have a search field. I'll correct that asap. Until then, you can also use my experimental new forum interface, which does have a search function. Be warned though: it is experimental, so it doesn't have all features that the regular interface has yet, And it needs some final polishing. Also, I'm not even quite sure if I'm ever going to launch it. The idea was to make something with an easier overview of what's going on in the forums, but after I made it, I wasn't quite sure anymore if people would find it better than the classic forum view.
So, while you're at it, any feedback would be appreciated:

hey there, thanks for your response.
i still don't see a search function, which, unfortunately, makes this forum not very useful for me.
i did glance at the new interface and find that i don't like it as much as the one you're using now.
hope you take that as constructive and not criticism
i really do think search functionality is crucial ...

No problem, thanks for the feedback. I am myself not 100% convinced of that experimental interface yet, that's why I didn't replace the old system. I'll try to get a search field into the classic interface asap.

Got it. On top of the pages that show overviews of categories etc, you'll find a search form now.
