Leg Floatation for SUP? was created by Jeroen
Wondering what others think: when Stand Up Paddling on moving water, a major concern is that when you fall off the board, your legs can go pretty deep, so you should always try to fall flat so as not to entrap your feet. This Leg Floatation Device (LFD) might help with this, or at least, that's what it's made for...

Is the idea any good in practice or only in theory?

What do you guys think?

Hummm... I dunno..... I think when going over drops feet first you're still going to go deep before the floatation kicks in (so you can jam your foot into a crack) and then you're now in the position of being a less effective swimmer...

Hard to say without trying them of course, so this is a gut reaction... it would be interesting to try them and see what they do.
