SUP Paddler drowns in Florida was created by DanGavere
Unfortunate turn of events for a paddler ends in worst case scenario in Florida. Please use a leash and PDF when paddling. If you rent out boards, give lessons, and/or tours make sure every board has a leash and you're clients know how to use it. A PFD attached to the board is of no help when the board gets away from a person. Even strong swimmers will not be able to catch a board blowing down wind on its own, and if its cold will be even more dangerous...
