Introducing the Liquidlogic Coupe and Deuce Coupe Sit-on-Tops
Liquidlogic kayaks began broadening its product base last year when it introduced the crossover series the Remix XP but are continuing to explore new territory and will now be manufacturing two sit-on-top kayak models. The solo Coupe and the tandem Deuce Coupe have many unique features that will appeal to paddlers who frequent lakes, rivers or beaches, including the innovative spring loaded, retractable skeg that has made the Remix XP series so versatile and exceptional. Versatility equals value and the Coupe and Deuce Coupe are the most versatile sit on tops ever produced.
The retractable skeg allows these sit-on-tops to transition easily from open water where tracking is important to shallow class II rivers where their excellent maneuverability takes precedence. "I describe the Coupe series as the XP of the SOT," says Woody Callaway. "These sit on tops can be taken anywhere, rivers, lakes, or oceans, and should have customers smiling from coast to coast." Other features for comfort and convenience include paddle holders, cup holders, molded foot supports, rear tank wells, multiple hatches, drain plugs and grab handles.
The Deuce Coupe has two molded in seats, with additional space for solo paddling, or for a passenger. "This is the most maneuverable tandem ever designed and with the addition of the skeg the Deuce Coupe will track straight as an arrow" says Woody Callaway brand manager of Liquidlogic. Both sizes have two separate outfitting systems that can be
purchased and easily attached for additional comfort. The DVC seat and DVC Deluxe sewn in our Greensboro NC, factory not only drain, vent and cushion to provide long lasting comfort but the Solar Screen fabric stays cool and withstands sun and water damage. The DVC Deluxe option also has thigh pads and a leg lifter wedge that can be extended to provide support under your thighs and knees.
