About me I am an intermediate paddler, I have been paddling for 4 years but being in the military has limited my access to good paddling areas. I am back in the southeast now and have been paddling much more now. Review I have primarily used this boat on the Nantahala river in NC and often at high water just after a good rain. It has also been paddled several times on the Haw in Raleigh. The haw averages about 280 cfs but I have run it between 3000 and 4000 cfs. The first thing I can say about this boat is it rolls easy. I learned how to roll in this boat and only after owning it about a week. It was that easy. I also love the way this kayak goes down river. Its very forgiving and allows the boater to stay upright and also to really build alot of confidence. Another thing you notice is that its very lightweight. That is great during mandatory portages!
