About the reviewer I am a 24 year old student from the Reading, PA area. I have been paddling since I was 12 and paddle flat-water, surf, and whitewater. Test environment Blue Marsh Lake Review I have the pleasure of living close to the main office of Emotion Kayaks and was lucky enough to be at Blue Marsh Lake when someone who owned an Exhilarator was there and I asked if I could test paddle a kayak since I am looking for more of a fitness 'yak to go along with my other kayaks. I was pleasantly surprised with the intial stability of the kayak. I didn't feel tippy at all. Next came the actual paddling. This surprised me as well. It is a very fast kayak and was a lot of fun to paddle. I can imagine this boat would be fun to take into some minor surf as well and really carve it up. The seat back was very comfortable (I believe it was the high back seat) and the molded footbraces were well thought out and there was plenty of leg...
