About the reviewer This was the first boat I had bought for myself, I was used to kayaking in an old WS Big EZ, and Riots. I had learned the roll and done some surfing but mostly river running. Test Environment Ran this boat in class II and III+ water, did some surfing, park and play, and numerous pool sessions Review I loved this boat from the start! Extremely easy to roll. Very well balanced and stable when running the river. Your first experience in this boat will make you say, "wow this is comfortable", and "it's pretty big". One thing I noticed was that this boat quickly became to big for me. As I had begun to be more comfortable on class IIIs and surfed more and more, the boat was just a little too big for me at 61 and 3/4 gallons. I have come to the conclusion that unless you are 200 lbs or more, than I wouldn't go with this boat. The smaller, 54 gallon FUN was a better fit, more responsive, and quicker. ...
