I'd recommend if your are under 170 cm in height. I'm 183 cm high and weight 87 kg, so just under weight limit. Kayak shape/hull & design does look slick... and this is where some manufacturers are heading; back to similar design features. I was given this kayak for NZ $300, so an excellent price. As most Necky white water kayaks are nearly 20 years old, you're sure to be able to purchase one for minimal cost

About Me
Grade 3 paddler, 20+ years in NZ. Always on the look out for pressure waves/wave trains to find surfing nirvana. Amongst my 'boat shed', which includes several newer kayaks, I also have some older slicey kayaks, including Pyranha & Dagger. I've previously owned a Necky R.I.P. and wish I hadn't sold it - great surfing hull, so it was recommended that I try a Necky Gliss...
Pros / The Good
Wow! Amazing side on profile, kayak looks super slicey and with proven Necky surf hull this kayak looks to be a fun ride
Cons / The Bad
I can't get in the bloody thing! It has foot pegs/peddles similar to a Perception Dancer. At full extension, I find my legs are still too long. I would need to remove the rails & peddles to get in - and then fit a foam block for my feet. This is bizarre, because I fit comfortably in a smaller Pyranha Inazone 232.
