About the reviewer
3yrs paddling, atheltic, hockey during winter, kayak in summer.Owned Dagger approach 10 before( Hated it, horrible back pain)Test environment
Saylorville lake 2-3 foot swells, and Des Moines riverReview
The over all quality of this boat far exceeds the Dagger boats 10 times over. As my girlfriend put it the dagger looked like a cheap peice of s--t. The way all of the outfitting is entirely adjustable to whatever body size, the design of the skeg(which when down keeps the boat giong straight on the wide open lake), the easy open backcess hatch which is almost water tight, the quality of the workmanship is far superior to anything Ive ever seen before in on of the boats, and the fact that the seating is extra comfortable( I had so many lower back problems with the dagger approach got rid of it immediatly)Conclusion
I gave her 5 out of 5 stars the design of the hull is dramtically different too the bow rises so much out of the water, easy to roll(the approach was not), the easy open rear hatch, the easy operatable skeg(you know when she all the way up or all the way down the dagger was on a rope pully system, the remix XP 10 has an lever very easy to opperate, and more durrable), quality all around. Awesome boat for the money!Review
