About the reviewer

I'm 13, not really athletic, but I can kayak for ever and I'm not the strongest but I didn't really need to be with this kayak.

Test environment

I tested this kayak on a flat day - no wind, no current, no anything, and I also tested it on a day that a tropical storm was coming in, so heavy wind, big waves, huge currents.

Review

On the day with no wind it ran so smoothly I went with my dad and his friend. My dad was on a sit on top and his friend in my old old town otter sport. I was just cruising in this thing and it was goin fast and with the skeg it couldn't go any better. when little waves came in they were no problems.

This kayak was a little bit hard to turn but it was no big problem.

I was kayaking for about 3 hours and I still felt fine - the seat was very comfortable.

The only problem was with a short life jaket my shirt got caught up in it and it bothered.

On the day with waves it was really hard to start but once I got it..... it still was hard. When I got against the wind straight on it was really easy and it really took on the waves well. With the wind to my side it was harder but with its low profile it almost felt areodynamic and it went right over the boat.

The last thing I have is the foot pedals: they are amazing, fit right to my height.

Conclusion

Overall this is an amazing boat so I would recommend this to anybody who wants to have the best kayak experience.
