Good all-rounder

I've been more used to park and play, having moved from London (Hurley, Shepperton, etc) than Scottish rock and water scenarios. I'm a L4 Coach and am working on the West coast now.

I've used the boat in the surf and on some rivers, the Findhorn gorge for example.

I like everything that the switch offers, it's predictable, has a smooth hull, I can get a bit of speed when I need it and I can certainly shred waves. Holes are ok, but the tail end can catch in steeper ones, and you get no lee way when transfering the edge, you have to be right on the button. The plastic is good, although quite thick, the security bars are good enough for rescue attachments and for a boat that feels quite wide it seems very stable once on edge!

It's a great boat, a bit long compared to my 'pop' but has the speed to make good moves.
The footroom is a bit limited and the outfitting 'traditional'.
It's a tad heavy for long portages/carries but I'll be taking it to the Alps this summer and I think it'll last me a wee while yet.
