Launching under the Brooklyn Bridge, paddlers make their way up the East River, through Hell's Gate, into the Harlem River, then make the turn at Columbia Univ. to battle up wind on the Hudson, under the George Washington Bridge, past the Intrepid Air & Space, dodging the Circle Line to end at Chelsea Piers.
