Mar 11 Social Standup Journal FB Viking legend Casper Steinfath has been training through the depths of winter in Denmark to prepare for his crossing of the Skagerrak Straight, a 120KM open ocean straight that runs from Denmark to Norway. Known as the Viking Crossing, this body of water is known for both its treacherous conditions and inclement weather. Casper has been training in both the dark and freezing conditions in order to prepare for this historic crossing, a run that has been completed (never by sup) by Vikings throughout the ages. Casper’s commitment and focus to this goal have created a furor in the paddling world as last year he had to halt his attempt with only 12KM left due to a gathering storm and wicked tidal currents keeping him from advancing. Stay tuned for news of his launch this week! Naish Stand Up Paddling https://standupjournal.com/athletes/naish-team-rider-casper-steinfath-powerful-positive-focused/
