Dec 1 Social Instagram A torn hip labrum is not the most painful Injury that has happened to me. It’s probably the most frustrating injury because it came on without warning and has limited repair options. Repetitive motion or wear and tear injuries can be the worst kind. It usually means you like to do what ever it is that brought it on. This is probably true for my hip injury but there are plenty of other things to consider as well, like what I did not do to help prevent it. Frequent foaming rolling and stretching are important injury prevention methods. We all hate them because they suck up valuable workout time. If I carved out an extra 20 min a day I just might not be the key example in this post. Take time, foam roll and stretch. Add some longevity to your active lifestyle and ward off future injury.
