The Outing Club is one of seven Hoofer clubs, and the most diverse.
Tehy have activity groups for backpacking, canoeing, caving, cross-country skiing, hockey, mountain biking, road bicycling, rock climbing, sea kayaking, snowshoeing, telemark skiing, and whitewater paddling. They are an outdoors education and recreation club with a diverse membership of students, faculty, staff, and community members. Members plan and lead trips in Wisconsin and around the country, instruct lessons, oversee purchase and upkeep of club equipment, and coordinate all aspects of club operations.
