Strathclyde University Canoe Club are one of the largest clubs in Strathclyde University's Sports Union with over 70 members.
During term time they paddle every weekend running both beginner and intermediate trips to all the best rivers in Scotland. They train in the Royal College pool every Thursday where they teach beginners everything from basic paddling techniques to how to roll and then move on to the "Old Printworks" at 9pm to plan the weekend's trip and drink some beer.
