Föreningen För Kanotidrott was established in 1900 and is situated on a small island, Måsholmen, at Djurgården channel mouth.
The association carries out voluntary work in canoe sport, which includes canoeing and canoe sailing for children and youth as for older members. FKI is one of Sweden's oldest sports clubs. Here share old rarities from the beginning of the century with modern canoes in carbon fiber.
