Nordic Kayaks with its origin and base in Vaxholm Sweden was founded 2006 by the two experienced adventure racers Fredrik Lindström and Peter Bringby. Both has been kayaking since the middle of the -90s and used many type of different kayaks from Olympic K1 racers to river kayaks and stable ocean K2 kayaks. They couldn’t find any challenging and fast enough multisport kayak on the market so with Fredrik’s experience of repairing and rebuild kayaks they started to develop the Rocket kayak and later on hand-built the plug for the factory to make the moulds from.
