J3 Helmets is a progressive composite whitewater helmet company. Now in our 4th year of innovation, we created a helmet that will fulfill our needs as avid boaters--affordability and high performance. Existing helmets were too expensive and low in performance. Combining the real needs of whitewater with the advantages of composite technology, J3 set a new standard for style, price & safety.
J3 Helmets are one of the foremost helmet companies in the aggressively expanding kayaking industry today.
The company launched into the whitewater helmet market at the Cheat Whitewater Festival in the summer of 2000 with new levels of innovation for composite helmets. Since then, J3 helmets has expanded into over 25 countries worldwide with established distribution in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
