The Aloonaq strokes like a traditional Inuit paddle stroke, yet combines the advantages of modern materials. Its smaller blade surface is very useful when paddling into headwinds.

Shaft options:
Our paddle shafts are available as one or two pieces. Oval handgrips are shaped to provide comfort while paddling and also provide control of blade angle in wind and waves. Fibreglass shaft are strong and light. Our ergonomic shaped carbon shafts decrease the risk of tendonitis by offering a more natural position for the wrists.

Materials:
Plastic blades are sturdy and maintenance-free, but are somewhat heavier. Fibreglass paddles are light, strong and perform well. Carbon paddles have stiff and incredibly light blades. However, they require careful handling, owing to the thinness of the blades.
