The FX-11.0 Future Pro is the board for tomorrow’s pros...delivered today! We took the FX design principals and scaled them down into an elite youth race board. It utilizes the same increased bow volume and forgiving rocker line as the adult models. We’ve reinforced the impact zones with bamboo on the deck and bottom as well we added 360 degrees of Innegra™ ensuring this board will take a licking and keep on ripping. It will not only be super fast but it will also last for the next sibling in line for youth racing.
Features
• Glass Carbon with full InnegraTM reinforcement top, bottom and rails, deck and bottom bamboo wood sandwich, for the ultimate in strength and durability
• Croc skin EVA deck pad
• U.S. standard finbox w/ 12K Carbon Weedless 7.0” fin - Gore-Tex breather valve
• EZ-Grab handle
• Single surf leash plug
• Removable race handle
GC Glass Composite
Our GC and GCI constructions offer a double wrapped fiberglass composite and a reinforced tuff-wood deck. The GCI models have the added benefit of our Innegra™ tip, rail and tail reinforcement areas. This construction also offers our light weight cnc/eps core. The GC and GCI boards feature our ergo undercut carry handle and gore-tex breather vent.
This board is a displacement hull board.
DISPLACEMENT HULL
Standard Characteristics: Considered the road bike of the water due to its quick acceleration, efficient glide and top end speed in smooth conditions. Displacement hull boards are easily identifiable by their rounded bottom shape and piercing nose style in the bow. The nose of the board generally is designed to pierce the water, aid in board tracking and cut through chop to reduce drag and promote glide, as well as top end speed. The rocker line is generally flat and the volumes are greater than surf style boards. The added volume allows the board to float higher in the water which reduces drag thereby promoting better glide ratios and unlocks top end speed. Increased volume and width typically provides more stability, especially for heavier paddlers. Conversely, narrower boards are faster but less stable, depending on the paddler’s weight and skill level.
