We've listened to detailed feedback and given you more volume and subtly tweaked rails to keep you on the surface and on line. We've also refined the rails to stop you hanging up on shallower runs and rockslides and, of course, we've loaded it with the lightest, strongest outfitting around.
What does all this mean? It adds up to a boat that's easier to paddle in even more places. Whether you're eddy hopping down remote gorges in distant locations or burning your local on a Sunday afternoon, you'll soon forget about the Burn's pedigree and concentrate on having fun.

A fantastic boat that allows you to follow the line you want without having to drive to hard, the Burn is very forgiving as long as you have a positive drive position.
The Burn resurfaces every time in a controlled manner even if you plug it deep.
The Burn allows you to make difficult eddies with ease as the boat is very quick and sits well in the water, the progressive rails allow you to drive hard in to small eddies turning at the last moment.
The new connect 30 outfitting is very similar to the the syncro 6 with some small adjustments, eg a slightyly deep seat.
Very comfortable as are all Pyranha boats. I still think that Pyranha lead the way in Outfitting but from what i've seen of the new Liquid Logic set up they seem to be catching up quickly.
Conclusion
I loved paddling the Burn and i will shortly be taking ownership of my very own.

Bomb proof boat
About myself
I was told by an assessor to move up to a bigger boat if I was to do more river leading. This comment was made in reference to the fact that I couldn’t carry people on the back of my old one a Bliss Stick RAD185!!!
I've run a few grade 3's and 4's including Hebden Water , River Kent and Tees Barrage both in a river running and teaching capacity.

I’ve been paddling for ten years and this boat is just totally effortless. The size and comfort is fantastic. The high rocker allows for very fast turns and its blunt nose and volume just allow you to bounce effortlessly down the river. The outfitting is of an excellent standard. Really impressed with the grabrails and carrying loops. An excellent river runner and good for rescues.
Conclusion
Superb. Can't help but notice how safe you feel in it.

About myself
I've been paddling for lots. I did my first river when I was ten, so I guess ten years or so.
I like to run rivers and coach. I'm happiest on grade four but can push it harder for a bit of five.
This is my first big river runner but I have borrowed and used many different styles with many different style hulls.
About the test environment
Big volume grade three and technical grade fours around the Dartmoor area.
Both rivers have lots of little micro eddies that are quite hard to hit.

The first thing I noticed, being a really lanky bugger, was that the medium has loads of space in. It's rare for me to find a boat that I can pop straight in without taking any tools to it .
After I did the usual outfitting faff in very little time I took the bad boy out. The first thing to hit was how well it sat on edge. It's so stable on its rails you have to see it to believe it. The next thing compared to other semi displacement hulled boats, this boat is quick - very quick for a 8ft boat.
For me the boat was turning on a dime which is really lovely, it seems to turn quicker than a Mamba and it's a lot faster.
The rocker gives the feeling of lift-off when you boof hard. It's great and landing is superb - it resurfaces really quickly and effortlessly, better than some older style displacement hulls like the Necky Blunt.
On drops the back flutting come into their own they really make a big difference. It's not just gimmicks,
even the cock pit rim is curled, so it matches the diameter of you deck elastic better, thus keeping you dryer.
Conclusion
I'm a hard person to please with boats and I'm a hard person to fit being so lanky and light but I'm chuffed. It hits a line and smashes through the boil line with effortlessly, which gives me confidence. It spins on a dime and it's fast as hell, what more could I want?
Oh the only bad thing: my drain plug snapped but that could happen to any boat.
