The Seafarer was our first true touring kayak.
It was revolutionary at its time in that it had a very soft chined hull. The basic concept has survived the test of time having been updated several times, improving the outfitting and incorporating customer suggestions. The Seafarer's soft-chined, nicely-rockered hull provides responsive handling in rough weather and surf. It was designed with ample cockpit space to accommodate the larger, longer-legged paddler and has generous volume for plenty of storage required on longer expeditions.
