The NIDECKER 12'6 ALL WATER RACE float together in a fun, feel and performance. She was born from the observation that narrow planks and unstable are not always the fastest. With our experiences on different courses of international races, we wanted to create a board with a maximum slip that meets our requirements in terms of pure speed, comfort and stability. For this, we have to radically change our vision of designing a race board and the result is more than convincing. The Race 12'6 All Water is now much more stable and comfortable than our previous boards, but also much faster! His nose in bow can pass easily through chop or waves.
In addition to increasing the stability and buoyancy, its large "square tail" provides a better flow of water along the rails and a better out of the water behind the board. Performance is also improved by reducing the pitch, downwind or on small waves. This type of shape allows the board to boot any ripple while maintaining maximum control.
The slight single concave hull allows for maximum stability. While a board "V" or "rounded" sinks into the water, our mono-concave shape to orient the water pressure up, and the board is the surface which greatly improves skiing. The flat deck allows you to move easily on the board to turn, check the float in harsh wind or chop, without suffering the weight added by the flow of water on deck (especially when rowing face with wind chop chopped as sometimes found in sea or lake). It appeared that in case of a fall, it is also more comfortable and quick to get back on a flat deck that bridges the "edges".
The shape and the width, stability and volume were studied so that the board is ideal for:
Professionals wishing to compete in the popular category "Stock 12'6" (as "Stock 14 'rudderless' on races or 12'6 class is not present) with a high performance board that allows them able to focus exclusively on the effectiveness of rowing motion, management of their competitors and reading of the water without wasting energy on finding balance. And that whatever the water or the type of route. It is also aimed at anyone looking for a board relatively easy access to beautiful walks on water bodies enjoying a quiet exceptional glide. Experienced practitioners can venture with this board in all types of conditions having fun in nice weather as well as days when the weather is a little more extreme.
In terms of equipment, here is a brief summary:
• A carrying handle
• Many inserts (M8) located at strategic points around the board to attach additional handles (very useful on the course type "surf life saving" or "BOP" amid waves) or an elastic net to calibrate the Picnic basket and waterproof bag!
• A pad developed to a maximum limit of foot pain after long hours paddling.
• A fast fin blade 25cm
• Fin size: POWER BOX 1x Race 300mm
