Our most unique SUP design. Shaped in conjunction with renown kiteboarder and waterman Julien Fillion, the Enigma is a breakthrough in “performance” SUP surfing.
The Enigma is truly our flagship design. In fact, it has been hailed as one of the most significant advances in performance sup design, period.
The magic of this board is a combination of various things, from the shortboardesque sweep to the outline and rocker, to the radical shape of the S rails which links exaggerated central volume to low volume rails.
This central volume, which extends lightly through the nose of the board, and is cut away radically in the tail, gives the board far more stability than any board with similar rocker and low profile ends should have. Yet it is done in such a way as not to interfere with the boards ability to dig in a rail and hold, driving through a laid out turn.
The single concave bottom glides gently into a shallow V in the very tip of the tail where the release rocker begins, and is topped off with hard, slicy thin rails - just like you’d expect on your shortboard.
