Canoeists, who want to go paddling on their own, and at another time in company, or in addition to that, with a child.
Or multi-talent canoeista, who with one boat wish to explore the waterways, i.e. lakes, rivers, coastal- and white-water and who want to have the option of sailing and motoring.

It was high time to develop a boat that offers the driving characteristics of a hard - top kayak but avoids the disadvantages - the great storage and transport volume and the easy tilting.

Sleek, and sharp pointed bow and stern design, plus hydrodynamic underwater hull of three-dimensional appearance and distinctively shaped keel.

Low weight, few components, no screws, swift assembly like dismantling and transport, a matter as easy as child play.

Low gravity centre position and seating below water line, ensure ideal stability and resistance against capsize.

Variable seat positioning enables seat adjustment to suit the personal size of the canoeists and optimises the trim of the boat. Two separable floor-panels provide secure bases to step on.

A generously dimensioned cockpit allows easy stepping in and out and enables the DISCOVERY 2 to be used as a 1- or alternatively as a 2-seater kayak.

The unique spray-cover feature offers the choice of convenient open cockpit application or in the event of adverse weather and rough water with the cover on, body tight.


For reason of the boats buoyancy, no extra uplift agents are required. The entire space under deck may be used to stow luggage.

The entire craft below the water line and decking is covered by strong boat skin material. Bow- and stern sections are reinforced as protection against chafe and similar damage.

The boat skin dries fast, whereas deckskin of other boats made from textile material take much longer to dry and may develop mould stains.

Eyelet studded lips along both sides of the boat serve to affix spray-cover as well as bow and stern dry-bags.

Eye appeal of a modern slim line sea kayak, with the topside in bright red safety colour, whereas the robust black rubber hull sides inconspicuously blend in with the natural environment, thus least disturbing to the fauna.

A cleverly designed storage system offers plenty of luggage stowage for extensive expeditions:

A complete new seating concept with optimised adjustment has been designed to suit ergonomic requirements of the canoeist, and for him to enjoy long hours of seating afloat, day for day, without pain, there is a choice of 2 different seat systems available.

All of them are compatible with the floor mounted rail, allowing adjustment of the seat to the most convenient positions. That enables adaptation to exact leg-length and at the same time ensures best weight distribution for the trim of the boat.

The seat has been shaped to fit the anatomy of the buttocks.

Inclining thigh supports relieve the feet.

Two utensil racks between the legs hold drinks and bits and pieces ready to hand.

The backrest is moulded for optimal back support and may be adjusted low position, to enjoy sportingly fast or high position for leisurely motion through the water.

An elastic rubber joint permits that all body/paddle movement become transmitted and absorbed by the backrest.

Modern Hybrid-Technology
To create the desired features it was necessary, to combine 5 different materials, the best only for the intended purpose: naturalrubber, ABS, GRP, Dural and stainless steel.

That is modern hybrid-technology at its best, without compound materials, thus 100% recyclable.

Floor panels with plug-connections, 2 turn-frames, 2 fold-frames and 2 cockpit-struts enable easy
and quick assembly.

Inflation of boats side air chambers ensures final rigidity and stiffness.

FOOT-PEDAL STEERING
Adjustable setting for all seat positions. Folding sea kayakrudder. Clip on foot-pedal.

Adjustable rudder-line, uphaul-line.

SPRAYCOVERS
Spray-cover: made from water proof cloth, with stainless steel fixing hooks, and double Velcro-fastening at the bow and stern ends.

Hatch and coaming come with luggage net retainer clips as standard.

SMALL ACCESSORIES
Knee cushion: for pressure free and most comfortable contact between knees and inner hull wall.

Cushioned thigh belts with panic-release safety-buckle offer firm hold during rough conditions.

An all-round safety and carrying line makes sense if the DISCOVERY is taken out to sea extensively. That requires retrospective glueing of 7stainless steel D-ring patches on to the boat and knotting the line to them.
The set consists of 7 mountings, line, adhesive and instructions.


Deck net: for keeping bits and pieces ready to hand, i.e. charts, compass, camera and provisions.

DRY BAGS
Waterproof dry-bags with roll-up seal below decks fore and aft are shaped to fill the entire space of 40L available.

Waterproof dry-bags on deck fore and aft: Stainless steel hooks fix and strap the streamline styled bags of each 40 L contents securely to the boat. Note though, these bags should contain light objects only, for too much weight up top endangers the stability of the boat.

Central dry-bag of 40 L contents may be fastened behind the seat of the DISCOVERY 1 version or behind the forward seat of the DISCOVERY 2.
