What do you do to improve on the best hole boat ever? I mean, how do you evolve the kingpin - a boat that won 2 golds, 3 silvers, and a bronze at the 2003 World Championships - into something better? How about keeping it the best hole boat ever, but tweaking it slightly and adding some features, so that it becomes the best wave boat ever, too? Optimally placed removable fins offer uncompromised carving and speed on the fast green ones.
Removable pod technology allows you to adjust the boat's volume to suit different features. The D Bone™ subframe makes the hull stiffer than anything else out there. And we're also including the sickest outfitting system you've ever seen - namely the Performance Fit System™ with Precision adjustable thigh braces, a Flipswitch@ backband and our six-way adjustable AirCore™ seat and hip pads. Ladies and gentlemen, we present the evolution of the most successful freestyle kayak in history - the Kingpin:Icon. Better clear off the trophy shelf.

Did great!
About the reviewer
I'm a fairly new kayaker, I have been paddling for less than a year but have tried out a number of different boats, creek and play, in that time.Test environment
The beautiful pool drop waterfalls of the Micos River.Review
It did great, I had previously only paddled this boat on class II, but it made a wonderfully playful river runner for this amazing unique run. It was comfortable to be in for extended periods of time, which makes this a great boat for both play and running rivers. Conclusion
I look forward to getting this boat out on some play and exploring many more rivers!Review

Great boat!
About myself
I like playboating and river running and this boat is great.
About the test environment
The New has big surf waves, big holes and NO CONSEQUENCES. Great place to play and just mess around.

The Kingpin proves itself again
I've been paddling for 3yrs. Mostly down river with my Jackson Fun.
I've paddled the boat down some class three and enjoyed it. Also paddled Schoolhouse (park and play) on the lower Klamath River.
I like the new 2007 outfitting. It was easy to outfit and confortable. I thought I would have a problem with stern squirts in the larger rapids but didn't (I get squirted more in my Fun). The Kingpin made it simple to go where I wanted. I had my joice between Project 52 and the Allstar also. It took me a month to decide and some demoing.
I am very glad I choose the Kingpin and am very satisfied.
