There's tons of storage space so you can spend 3 or 4 days on the water, (and top-shelf outfitting so you'll want to). There's a speedy hull that turns when you lean it, and there's that combination of stability and responsiveness that you'll only find in a Dagger. Is it a short day touring boat of a long Rec boat? Who cares. Let's go boating.

Solid Rec boat, slow and easy...
I've been boating (sail, canoe) since 72'. Took up kayaking in 2004 with this boat. Bought it new, great rec boat, plenty of storage, tracks well.
Streams and Rivers = A+
Choppy bay with other Sea Kayaks = C-
Like it's owner, built for comfort not speed...
I've added to the fleet over time but will always keep this one. Its relatively light, works great for casual paddles in lakes, streams, etc when speed is not a concern. I bought it with a rudder but rarely use it. Decided to take a paddling lesson which really helped. I also own a Sea kayak, a SoT and am thinking about trying WW again.
I have two adult children that use it and would really be upset if I ever sold or traded it.
Highly recommended if used for its designed use, rec kayaking.
Oh yea the seat could be a bit more comfortable, I don't have much natural padding.
