The Nanook is designed for individuals weighing 90 kg (200 lb) or more.
This kayak has a deeper profile, offering ample room for the legs, thighs and feet. For added comfort and freedom of movement, the cockpit and seat are larger than those of other composite models. This is a very stable, high performance kayak characterized by a moderate rocker adding to its manoeuvrability, even in choppy water conditions.
Nanook is the Inuit word for the polar bear. This white bear is sleek, with Herculean strength. He lives and forages bravely in an eternally icy environment. Reigning supreme in the glacial solitude of his habitat, he is one of the largest carnivorous mammals in existence.
Further Specs:
• Weight(fibreglass/kevlar/carbon): 56/51/48 lb (25.5/23/22 kg)
• Bow compartment: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" : 19 gal us (27 x 27 cm : 71 l)
• Stern compartment: 15" x 13" : 40 gal us (38 x 33 cm : 153 l)
