The Kasko is a very responsive recreational kayak ideally suited to exploring winding rivers, lakes and coastlines.
Its cockpit is smaller than that of the Ookpik, allowing the paddler a better fit and therefore better control. For added adjustment, the Kasko can be equipped with thigh braces.
In the Abenaki language, Kasko means great blue heron. This migrating wader is found from Newfoundland to Alaska, migrating as far south as Venezuela. The heron lives in marshy areas and along the shores of lakes, where it calmly seeks out small fishes, crustaceans and frogs.
Further Specs:
• Weight: 46-52 lb (21-24 kg)
• Bow compartment: dia : 8'' : 13 gal us (20 cm : 49 l)
• Stern compartment: 14 1/2'' x 12 1/2'' : 25 gal us (37 x 32 cm : 93 l)
Options:

• Rear bulkhead (from 2006 and onwards)
• two bungee cords (in front of
and behind the occupant)
• 2 toggles
• safety ring for locking
• comfortable seat (adjustable, padded backrest) and adjustable
footrests.
Options:
