Kaos - 'Playboat'.
Short, fast and dynamic The Kaos is everything a freestyle kayak should be.
Big Dog really hit the ground running with this new design; every aspect of the design was evaluated, tested, tweaked and re-tested before finally committing to production tooling. The Kaos features a fast, loose planing surface with efficient, clean releasing, rails and well balanced volume distribution to give excellent all-round freestyle performance.
Optimum hydrodynamic performance combined with a choice of four sizes, tailored ergonomics and Big Dog's positive control outfitting creates one of the best freestyle kayaks currently available.
Outfitting: - Vacuum formed adjustable thigh grips, seat unit and separate hull stiffener offer comfort with flyweight mouldings. Let's face it, you don't want to be tied down when you're learning to fly! Sectional foam footrest allowing easy trimming. Twin ratchet backband provides a well balanced, even tension and support. 2 Big Dog ‘mountaineering grade' drop-forged aluminium grab points integrated into the deck.
A good choice if you're using, or considering; Agent, Kingpin, All-Star, Project, Biscuit, Rev or any other high performance playboat.

Flat water - canals mainlyReview
Having been out of the paddling world for a few years (the joys of having kids), we were eager to get back to it. Having enjoyed a lot of white water playing years back, I wanted something that would still make a trip down the local canal with the younguns' a little bit more interesting. Having not been around any of the newer boats, or even some of the older ones, I was at a complete blank when it came to buying a new toy. Virtually the 1st boat I sat in (in a shop) was the big dog Kaos L. I went out to Holme Pierre Pont to have a look around - every where you look people are paddling Jacksons! I hadn't got any gear anymore so I couldn't even get out and demo. So I took a gamble. A complete unknown company to me. It looked good but I still hadn't tried one. Well I wasn't disappointed. Played all the way down the canal today. Even had enough left in me to get back aswell! The ends go up and down so easily that you don't waste vital energy. Fortunately my roll still works - but good fun all the same. Only down size is a bit on the slow side - but what do we expect? I wasn't looking to be a sprint kayak. Conclusion
Hugely entertaining on the flat, want to get it in the flow now.Review
