In 2008, Joe completed the Catalina Calssic for the 25th time, and it was atop this model. Chad Carvin, Kyle Daniels and Ryan Addison have all taken their Classic wins on this board as well. Numerous hours and dozens of boards have led to this finely honed 'magic' California channel crosser. The stability and speed of this design allow for prone or knee paddling in all-conditions. Shaped between 18 and 19 feet, 18.5 wide with a penetrating and domed nose, slight nose rocker, deep knee well, slightly boxed rails, rolled bottom, deep-vee release in tail, moderate to aggressive tail rocker paired with an ultra responsive 3 to 1 ratio rudder system. Lamination is light and strong with a full carbon bottom and rail strip for increased rigidity. If your looking to cover more water in less time, this is your board.
