This is the dream trip kids!
Zoners or guests, THIS is exactly what you say you will do.... someday.

A trip designed for SUP....  not tagging along with surfers as the token SUPster.
Waves and paddling spots all picked to maximize SUP fun!

11 days in the Maldives with the Sunova Team!
Coaching by James Casey
Surf and party with the amazing Mr Bert Burger.... imagine all the shaping knowledge you will bring home from this trip... the guy is a freaking savant!

Just do this.....

May trip date, but you gotta book now!

Nice. I thought Bert didn't do standup. Has he finally come around?

Someone should get some video of Bert SUPing.

Why don’t you go and find out 😃

He surfs everything, but is still ripping and competing on longboards.
He rips shortboards as well, and paddles, but longboard is his “goto”

You can ask him all the questions you want over beers at night....that would be an amazing experience!

If you have watched any of his videos on shaping and construction, you know he Is very good at explaining what makes boards and fins work.

He’s a legend, dressed up as just one of the boys!

Trip of a lifetime...would for me anyways! I better start printin' up stacks of hundreds! And that dive vid is nothing short of spectacular.
Curious though, is this per person? If so, I just might pull trigger. Although I don't know if my wife will be keen on the idea of spending 10 days on a boat w/a bunch of surfers.

I have been planning a Maldives trip with a very good surf buddy for going on 3 years.  We postponed to next year when our kids are a little older and easier for our wives to handle.

But from what i have seen- that is a great price for 10 days- especially being sup specific.   Unfotunately employers in the USA frown on the 'full' 2 week vacation.  The only one I ever took was my honeymoon to pull that much time off.

great post Creek!

I have had two trips to the Maldives with Sups. Central atolls, Southern atolls and plan a third to the Northern area. It definitely is a paddleboard paradise, all I can add is that if you need   an internal transfer the plane operators will only accept boards 8,6" and below so be careful. If your picked up and dropped off at the airport then there is just the airline limits. Emirates is 3 metres and have carefully transported my boards from Scotland and back in one piece. I usually head out and join a surfers boat of different nationalities which has been great to date.

Thanks for asking that Don, it does say Dealers only, not sure why.
It is absolutely open to everyone, here is the booking link:

https://www.moontours.com.au/book-now

I just talked with Trent, the guy in charge of the tour.
He said boards up to 9’6 are no problem.
There will be top Sunova models on board to ride as well.

If you want to take this trip, sign up now cuz there is a Sunova event in OZ this weekend where they may well sell out the trip.

Pull the trigger.... fricking amazing looking trip.

Oh man! They had me at: Guaranteed perfect SUP waves! Fuller waves, deeper water, uncrowded, long rides. We know what you want and where to find it.

If they are doing something like this in 2019, I'd seriously consider it.  My biggest challenge will be keeping my body injury free and getting in shape enough to pull it off. Training starts now.

Perfect! Trent just told me they are doing the SUP trip again in 2019.
He also signed me up to help promote the trips.

Please mention my name when you book any trip and I will get credits towards next years trip! Come surf with me in paradise! 😃

Great!  We can discuss the details when I stop by for a visit in September or October!  ...details like how many boards to bring, and what sizes! ;-)
