Can anyone suggest a good learner wave please, staying at westvale so maybe somewhere close.

I'm also looking to start playing in waves where it's not crowded as I don't want to irritate anyone,so keen to see what suggestions are made and I'll join you for a surf.

Snapper rocks you will have it all to your self if not a friendly local will help you on to a wave

With the small swell at the moment you can find a quieter little wave anywhere from north kirra to tugan. Usually not so crowded and a nice little wave to learn on. Had a good morning there yesterday

Will probably also help carry your board to and from the beach and buy a coffee for you.....they just love SUPs so much at Snapper. I'm surprised they haven't renamed it - SUPper Rocks :-)
