Simple and elegant.  I really like the idea of folding it into the wall.

After about three outings with my daughter she decided that my  all around SupATX board now belonged to her... so my new board is arriving Wednesday afternoon.

Blowing the dust off an old one looking for new ideas.

I need to store three SUPs, 1 longboard, 1 short board and two soft tops such that the solution is random access and nothing is stacked and all boards have fins attached.

I don't have the clearance to put the 10'+ SUPs above the ties, and I don't have the clearance under the ties to put the 32" wide SUP's completely on edge. I may be able to do something like Rackenstein on end but it might still hang too low.

With 6 boards, even in "stacks" of 3, you'll need side access.  My "ropes from rafters" system would require pulling out the bottom board, but it's the easiest, cheapest and safest storage method I've found to date.  I also use only neglected roof space above vehicles and not valuable wall storage area or parking spots.  I just set up my daughter in her Santa Barbara rental with a two board set up that cost a whopping 11 bucks.  Boards with fins are fine, but you have to be able to lift them over your head and perform some simple rope gymnastics (grab and clip) while supporting half the board weight.
