My apologies to Blue Shed Shaping then. They look nice.

I incorrectly A.A.S.umed  SIC because of the familiar foot tiller.

Blue Shed does some lovely stuff. I like the little Ferrari logo.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Blue Shed custom 17's with a foot controlled kayak rudder.  Luke and Erdo (Team Fueled by Stoke) made it across the Strait of Juan de Fuca in a few short hours and are now headed north up the east side of Van Island. Follow on the race tracker at www.r2ak.com

Karl of (team Heart of Gold) in the meantime is rocking it on a Bark custom in 2-3rd place (overall) north of Naniamo. I'm sure with a vengence after having to quit early last year.

Looks like one of the sailboats already finished. But that "Heart of Gold" Karl guy on the custom Bark is way out ahead of the other paddleboarders.

Heart of Gold must have a heart of an Ox and a Lion combined. He's still in it and ahead of a lot of boats that theoretically should be way in front.

Some insight from clip of the day:

If I do this race, ships stores are going to include fine dining and a wine cellar.

Wow that dude is pretty amazing - a quick look at finished boats - about 10? I didn't find any paddle craft - I assumed some kayaks would be ahead. Ok I only looked at 5 :D I hope the weather is calm - looks like he's about to come out from the shelter of the Inside Passage.
