SAN DIEGO, California - There’s no better way to experience and enjoy the beautiful place that we call home by grabbing your paddle board and jumping in the water. In honor of Earth Day today we want to share our love for this planet by sharing a few ways you can help keep our planet pristine and clean through our love of standup paddle boarding.

1. Pickup Floating Debris

The amount of floating debris and trash in our oceans and waterways is astounding. An easy way to do your part in helping keep our waterways clean is to pick up the floating trash and take it with you to shore where it can be properly disposed.

2. Organize a Beach Cleanup

Whether it be at your next paddle event or through a group of paddling friends, organize a beach cleanup before or after your next group paddle to keep your favorite spots clean and pristine.

3. Share the Stoke

It’s no secret that those who enjoy and participate in outdoor activities care more and work harder at keeping the environment healthy. So, share the stoke and get others hooked on the sport so that they learn to love the oceans and waterways and keep them clean. The more people that love being outside, the more people there are that will work to keep it beautiful. It’s as simple as that.
