Badfish was born in shaper Zack Hughes’ garage building surfboards for river surfing. With the Inflatable SK8 we took 10 years of building the most innovative river surfing boards on the planet and applied it to an inflatable, river-surfing, shortboard. Based on our shortboard design, the SK8, the I-SK8 is designed to rip river waves. The I-SK8 provides a comfortable tool for someone learning to surf river waves, but don’t mistake this board for a pool toy. Their secret lies in their shape. They’re narrower than a Ride, so they cut through the water more cleanly, and the drawn-out nose section gives them more glide across the water. The 11’0” offers fast inflation and great flat-water performance for riders up to 90kg/198lb, the 11’3″ is suited to a slightly larger rider, while the 12’6” is ideal for longer touring trips.
