One of my favorite drops, was historically known by the locals as "Indian Falls", and was Ironically later named "Desoto Falls" after a dam was put in above it and the surrounding area became Desoto State Park. It was named after the Spanish Conquistador Hernando De Soto, who was notorious for his brutality in North America to Native Americans.
