I'm original came from Hong Kong so i seen it and have done it myself when i was a kid eating at pizza hut. This is def not a recent trend since i left HK when i was 5 and that was 25yr ago . But im sure Pizza Hut didnt exist in China during that time so it was limit to a small market in HK. Im still amaze on how much time and engineering involve to built those salad structure. Also those salad tower can be prevent if they start charging it by weight or dimension limit.

Totally - if they're already policing the salad bar by limiting how many visits you can make, it doesn't seem like it'd be so hard to have a max weight as well.

I just love everything in that article though. It's like art, and the engineering is so awesome.

Today I watched a ten minute long YouTube video of a woman at a Pizza Hut salad bar. And I loved it.

That sounds dirty, doesn't it?
