Anyone have any good info on new gear that was unveiled at the show? I heard FCS had a SUP-specific set of fins that are tool-less.

I looked through some of the photos - am I seeing things, or is Focus still not making any super high performance boards? It's not a big market, sure, but you'd think that the company that Mo Freitas surfs for would have at least one proper HP board...

The move they made is to contract shaping legend Pat Rawson for Mo. He is the magic behind Mo's board.

I knew about Rawson making Mo's boards, but was under the impression that Focus planned to introduce some real HP boards of their own this year too (not stuff Mo would ride, but decently small stuff regardless).

Speaking of Rawson though, have you seen photos of the boards he's made for Mo?? They're insanely tiny.

This one is 7'4 and either 23 or 24 wide (not sure on the width, but educated guess)

Crazy.

Rawson boards are amazingly detailed. He did have a lot if channel gimmicks in 80's and 90's. he also charged a premium.
