Well... Now Two!

North County was silly good too yesterday. Wind turned offshore right about the time I got off work and was grooming nice overhead peaks on my favorite stretch of reef. I got cleaned up by one big set and got to give the Mach 1 a durability test. Still not sure how Tim buckled it!

That DM secret spot just eats boards... landing floaters in the flats is bad.

I surfed an uncrowded spot this weekend. Recruiting positions are available now.
It's a drive for all of us North County and OC folks. Well worth the long (loooonnnngggg) walk to this spot. Why? No one will be there. (okay, maybe a couple surfers. I saw three out there.)

Fast, open lefts that pitch up and bowl to the inside before it closes onto the reef. Channel accessible to the south. Rights are decent and can be long.

Fickle tide spot, but I surfed for three hours yesterday. For me, that is a marathon.
Bringing refreshments and snacks is highly advisable.
Commitment time: Several hours.

W/NW swell direction preferred.

I won't post on a public forum... So you can trust me... Do you have to blindfold me befor we go?
