Shred Ready Inc., makers of helmets and accessories, announces its Pro Team selections for 2006

Accompanying this announcement is a new team section on www.shredready.com that features athlete bios, photos, videos, and team news.

The 2006 Shred Ready Pro Team is a mix of seasoned SR veterans, and key new additions. The team features top level athletes in the fields of paddling, kite, wake, and snow. More additions to the Shred Ready Pro Team are soon to follow in the coming months.

Shred Ready’s paddling team features a versatile mix of creekers, play boaters, surf kayakers, extreme racers, instructors, photographers and videographers. Returning Shred Ready paddle team members include Tommy Hileke, Anna Levesque, Spencer Cooke, Joey Hall, Hannah Farrar, Matt Rusher, John Grace, Andreas Sommer, Nikki Kelly, and Pat Keller. The new additions to the paddle team are Andrew Holcombe, Christopher Gragtmans, Karyn Roy, Robin Betz, Jeremy Adkins, Nathan “Yellowboy” Eades, and Joe Stumpfel.

Kiteboarding has seen major growth in recent years, and Shred Ready is glad to see more kite boarder‘s wearing helmets. Shred Ready is excited to expand into this sport with its first kite team riders. They include Nina Johansson of Oahu, Hawaii, and Clarissa Hempel and Mike Minichiello of Miami, Florida.

With the introduction of the Phly multi-sport helmet, designed for use in liquid and frozen water, Shred Ready is moving forward into the snow sports market in full force. Members of the Shred Ready snow team include freestyle skier Matt Farrar and Thrillhead Creations riders Wade Everitt, Jessie Levine, and Ellis Smith.

On the wake side of things, Shred Ready is glad to continue its relationship with rider Nick Boville, and looking forward to working with two new additions: talented cable rider Donald Shelbrick, and 7 year old national Jr. champion Taylor McCullough.
